Title: A good frontend for an X-Arcade cabinet?
Post by: momotaro on April 16, 2008, 11:48:07 pm
Hi, I'm the process of building an X-Arcade only cabinet, meaning, I don't want to use anything else (keyboard & mouse) to control the cabinet.  I was thinking about using the left flipper for Insert Coin and right flipper to quit out of the game and go back to the rom selection.

Is there any front end that'll allow me to bind the right flipper to Exit out of a game?

Thanks

In the frontend list on the wiki, any frontend that has a "CAB" included in the "other features" section should be controllable with only your controls, no keyboard or mouse required.

Some emulators, however, may not be configurable to have right flipper exit. MAME can be for sure, though.
