A free TV. Only 1.5 years old so I'm assuming S-video is there. But apparently the screen has a red tint, or the screen is red (?) according to the listing. Has anyone ever heard of this and is there an easy fix?
Sorry if this is way too vague to answer.

Could be a number of things like a color drive transistor, an IC that controls the color adjustments, or even possibly a bad tube.
For FREE....... it's worth playing with anyways.

first off , they have the user color level too high . and ur possible causes are accurate.....
it should have s-vid and component inputs.
and for free, likely worth the gamble......

vague is what we're given for symptoms, " its broke" or " it don't work" is common when dealing with Joe Customer ::)

Located in Amhert, MA...which means you're not far from me. I'm in Southern VT. Nice to meet a fellow New Englander.
