I hear that some invaders from space will be attacking me very soon......
:)
-
And I thought classic cabs were hard to find in the NL. :)
-
They are.
I'd much rather get a DK, Tempest, Asteroids or something like that, but a SI is a nice cab.
And I love the mirror/moon set-up :D
-
Thud-Thud, Thud-Thud...peew, peew.....
Sounds like two alley cats having sex...
-
Black and white SI cab or the red one ?
(both are cool of course)
And much more appealing than two alley cats gettin' busy. ;D
-
plop plop fizz fizz
couldn't resist.
and Space Invaders, on my must have list!
-
Alley cats ?
These two lover-cats ?

Talk about a great game.....
It's the "regular" SI cab, but look at the bezel. Either that camera is not registrating red, or they forgot the red layer of silkscreening ::)
-
The bottom looks pretty damaged. Overall condition is "OK" I guess.
The monitor is working, the PCB set not....
Picking it up tomorrow...the seller is a company (as you can see) and the boss wanted to dump it !!! One employee was a bit smarter luckily ! Another classic rescued !
-
We could trade an SI cab for a Tempest :)
-
Probably an empty one ? ;)
-
Picked it up. Looked a bit wore than I had expected. But I've learned by now, cabs look 25% worse than pictures....
Holy cow, that was VERY close, SI is BULKY on the lower part !

Just give it a LOT of time and tender loving care and you can restore that antique into a beauty! :applaud:

Indeed. A LOT :)
Well the bezel really is missing the usual red colors (the cannon, the invader UFO etc.)
Talking about Invaders. This is NOT listed on KLOV:
Look at the Star Wars Stormtroopers !!!
Another fine product from Italy.

Most copyrights infringed upon per cabinet?
Nice art on your cab, but that bottom MIGHT need a little bit of a rebuild...
-
Yeah maybe yeah ;)
I didn't realize that the artwork was painted on a SI....

That cab must have seen alot of sun. (red is always the first to go)
Maybe it had been in a store front or something.
Even the red on the cabinet art is faded, almost orange looking in places.
The artwork on the cab was probably painted using stencils, typical of that era.
I was thinking that someone was selling vinyl stencils for these, but I could be mistaken.
Still a good score...... always glad to see the classics being restored.
-
Rich from ThisOldGame has about all the artwork....
-
all I noticed was the Star Wars sit down in the background
-
Cool new addition. Not my favorite game, but it sure is the classic of classics.
You found a lot of space to store all these cabs (is that a parking garage), but will they ever fit in your game room?
-
Patrick & Malenko:
This is at my friend Luc's place in Belgium....
check out his site: www.gameroom.be
He has about 50 pins that are ready to play, 50 that "need to be checked out", and a range of arcade games, incl. Daytona 2 with motion seats.........
Some pics:

I'm currently repairing his SW upright and cockpit, and the SI is stored now there for a while....
Luc has the coolest supermarket in Belgium:

The fun-room now also has a SI/Qix combo and Ms.Pac/Galaga re-union:

Cool 8)
So the parking garage is actually his gameroom. Clever.
