I need help identifying the monitor in a cabinet i picked up this afternoon. All that is there is the tube. The back of the tube says:
RCA
TUBE TYPE: A63ADT10X05
SERIAL #: D-NGL4C371
Another sticker on the talks about Hantarex Polo Series Monitors DO NOT require an isolation transformer, etc....
According to the seller, the game was supposed to be scrapped except for some parts. The monitor was supposed to be sent back along with the game boards inside. However at the last minute, the company asked for just the monitor chassis to be shipped back. The guy I bought it from said the picture was perfectly fine with no burn in.
Question to you guys, what chassis do i need for this tube? It is in a Mortal Kombat cabinet. It is a 25" monitor. I did a search on google and found a chassis on 8liners.com but i dont know if thats the right one.

well, it is a 25" crt.
yoke-no yoke, bonded yoke ?

hmm well i snapped a picture of it.
thats about all there is to it. from the thread ken posted, i went to the links that identify chassis but since there is no chassis present on this monitor, i have no idea where to begin. i can take more pictures but im not sure of what. the cage has two stickers on it.

it looks like a hantarex polo 1 BUT the yoke looks a bit special, maybe this is a polo 1 dual sync
do you have any stickers to help more or what game was running on this before?
-
the game cabinet is a midway. and was painted black. I can see the original MKII artwork vinyl through the paint.
It was converted to a virtua tennis at some point. i saw pictures from before it was stripped and it had a virtua tennis marquee and virtua tennis stickers on the bezel(still there).

i am a bit worried about the yoke,i am gonna send the pic to someone i know to id it.

Definitely a Hantarex brand.

i have removed the tube from the cabinet now and can take some more pictures if needed.

the yoke is bonded . DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE . the wider spaced pins are labled H for horiz , and the other is V for vert ..
crt will be a standard resolution (typical tv crt)

well like i mentioned in the first post, one of the stickers on the tube does mention hantarex polo. and after some searching on google, it seems that hantarex polo was a common monitor in midway games such as MK series and blitz.
when i searched the RCA tube type number on google, i also found a bunch of topics referring to hantarex polo. I even stumbled upon a guide from retroblast which was about replacing the chassis on a hantarex polo. they used the 25" chassis from 8liners.com.
so is that what i should be going after or is there something else?
EDIT:: here is the guide

same style crt and the mounting plate also appears the same .
assuming the crt is good - u shouldn't have any problems with the chassis install.
though, not too fond of the crimp ends they show for the yoke connections .
imho, better to find the correct connectors or solder direct...

yeah go for it,according to a friend that yoke is standard on U.S polo tubes
like qrz said the crimps look poor to say the least

what about a isolation transformer? the stick on the back of the tube says it DOES NOT require one but then a few lines further it says some hantarex do. I assume that this one does not need one.
-
What you have there - regardless - is just a tube. Good luck finding the chassis for it. You'd be better off getting either a used complete monitor, or a brand new one.

Then that would mean it had a Polo or Polo2 in it.
