Title: EmuMovies "Make A Video of your Rig" Contest
Post by: Circo on April 12, 2008, 02:58:40 pm: Ok everyone I think this is a fun idea, I am looking for youtube videos of folks showing off their gaming system using video snaps from emumovies with their front end.

I will be accepting submissions through May 10th 2008. All submissions will be posted in the news section and the winner's video will be posted on the homepage at emumovies.com

1st Place: ArcadeVGA Card (AGP) (ATI9250)
2nd Place: EmuMovies Complete DVD Collection w/lifetime FTP access
3rd Place: EmuMovies MAME DVD Collection

That makes sense but.... I have no idea how to do that! waveryder put my MaLa layout together... maybe I can ask him to "upgrade" it or something... I LOVE the idea of the preview movies and Circo is totally insane for doing all that work!! It's unbelievably awesome! :cheers:

As far as capturing the video, I have had great luck with my little sony digital camera in video mode. I have been meaning to try camtasia for Front End captures. I think it would work.

...you have the fundage to buy and repair all of those games, but you can't spring for a frikking video camera?!? :laugh2:

I can't necessarily vouch for the quality of this product, since I haven't technically used it for anything myself... :-\ I downloaded it once to check it out and don't remember too much about it. But it's free, so that fits the bill.

It's called priorities by bruddah... I have an ANALOG (tape) video camera I already don't use, why upgrade it to digital?

I noticed the ones posted are all by the same guy. On one of the videos I didn't even see emumovies in use, just snaps. :dunno

Did you submit it as a news item for the BYOAC main page?

I would much rather see vids of how people built a cab... not too interested in a front end???
