that's one i haven't figured out yet.
plus there is a 1/4" audio jack on the bottom next to the usb/vga/power plugs.
don't know what that is for either.
anyone know what those are for?
-
the "audio" jack is actually a connection for a wired remote for all the connections for power, menu etc etc. I have never been able to find someone who sells just the remote. I read somewhere about the red and black wire but I can not remember right now.......my Indians are getting pounded so the beer is talking

anyone have any ideas on what the red/black wire is for?

I have that monitor too and was going to see if maybe it was a set of power wires for something external (light maybe), but my multimeter took a dump.
-
ok now I remember they were to hook up to an external speaker. When you touched buttons on the screen of the kiosk it made beep. Never saw it hooked up or working for that matter, just what I read.

oh. very nice.
i found the "beep on touch" in the elo control panel, so i'll have to do some experimenting and report back.
