Hey everyone,
I have one spare Tempest machine that I'd like to offload. It's in excellent shape, complete and working. I just saw one sell on epay for $900+ WOW! Anyhow, I only paid $600 for this machine, so that's what I'm asking for it.
Edit: I am located in Anaheim Hills, CA. I can have the game delivered anywhere in OC/LA/Riverside for $50-$75
I WILL consider lower offers and I WILL consider parting it out. Make offers!
Here are a few pics. PM me with your email address for more pics.

That thing is way too nice to part out.

LOL I knew someone would mention this. It really is a nice looking machine, too. The sides are pretty. I have too much stuff and I really want the machine out of my way. I've managed to fill the garage with all of my "excess" machines that won't make it into my gameroom. At this point, I 'd like to reclaim the space for...oh, I dunno... a vehicle or two? :-)
I've included two more pics showing the sides of the machine....see all of those other machines in the background? They're up for grabs, too!
Space Duel, TWO War Final Assault machines, Lunar Lander, Star Wars upright (missing monitor boards), Assault......in those pics you cannot see the APB, Vindicators and Gauntlet Dark Legacy.
Enjoy!!

I'd be all over the Lunar Lander if delivery weren't 3000 miles.

How much for USPS to Europe ?
Man I'd LOVE it.......WHY do I live on the wrong side of the Atlantic (arcade game wise that is...)

If I were to disassemble the machine entirely and break up the cabinet into smaller pieces, I believe it might be possible to ship it through the postal system! LOL I couldn't even imagine how much that would cost.
Here in CA, Tempest games seem to grow on trees. I see them available all the time. Although, they're usually not as nice as the one I'm selling. :-)
Someone needs to hurry up and take this game so I can start using the garage again.
Thanks guys.

I hope someone does buy this. I'd hate to see it suffer the same fate as another machine I saw at the auction. Somebody converted a Tempest to a four slot NeoGeo machine. I thought that was nothing short of blasphemy.

Ditto for that Space Duel...

GAH! I'd love that Tempest and/or Lunar Lander!!! Why aren't California and New Jersey closer? :banghead:

So who is the lucky winner ;) Glad it will be kept in one piece...

Hey guys,
Who grabbed the game? A rather new local collector who's been in the hobby for two months. I don't know if he wants his name posted, so I'll respect his privacy. :-)
Also, the Space Duel and Star Wars upright are SOLD.
I still have those War Final Assault games, APB, Vinidcators and Gauntlet Legends.
Thanks

Ahh. As my brother is in L.A., I tried to get him interested in the Tempest, but he came home for the weekend, and probably hasn't even read that message yet. Oh well.
