So on Sunday I picked up a Spy Hunter in Las Vegas (which it turns out was actually the same machine I played growing up in Bountiful, UT), and tomorrow I have a Star Wars getting delivered.
I'm rearranging the arcade tonight to give the Star Wars a prominent placement, probably right next to where the Spy Hunter will be (which is sure to be a favorite). I just need to replace the side art on the Spy Hunter, does anybody know where the highest quality repro is sold? Here's a pic of the machine before any cleaning has been done. Once I clean it up after work, it's going into the arcade!

I'll post pictures of the Star Wars tomorrow.

How long was it since you played the Spy Hunter as a kid, and how do you know it's the same machine?
Ohhh, and
A excellent set of items to be adding to any arcade.

Here's how I know it's the same: http://stupidgamer.com/2008/04/07/an-arcade-miraclea-spy-hunter-homecoming/
And I haven't seen this thing in years. It's probably been 15 years or so.

Man that is one truly amazing story. I can remember when a drugstore called Haag's had a few machines. A Berzerk, A Scramble, One pinball I don't rmember which tho. I used to round up returnable bottles to play. I wish I could get a hold of one of these just for sentimental reasons. Good find!

Sweeeet ! Congratulations. I've never played Spyhunter on a real cab. Can't remember I even played it in Mame. I played it quite a lot on the Atari ST....

Oh man! Some of my best memories are playing Spy Hunter at The Pizza Machine after a soccer (football?) team party. That Peter Gunn music still gets stuck in my head.
Nice additions!
