Title: Good non-mame trackball games?
Post by: Cero21 on April 06, 2008, 10:05:54 pm
I'm looking to get maximum use out my trackball on my eventually to be completed cabinet.

Anyone know of any good non-mame trackball games I could include on my cab?

Currently the only game that I thought of is Tiger Woods Golf 08.  Anything else I should be looking at?

Thanks in advance!

Looks like somebody got a new trackball from the trackball fairy.

Long story short, you'll have to figure it out man.  Understand that a trackball is not a standard gaming controller on the pc, so aside from the random tiger woods/ golden tee game, technically speaking there are ZERO pc trackball games.  That being said, some low-quality homebrew games are designed with the trackball in mind and occasionally you'll run across a pc game that just happens to work well with a trackball.

There are several sticked threads throughout the boards lists pc games that work good on a cab, go through them and you'll find some.

But judging by your other post you aren't going to find anything that will satisfy your crazy, graphics-whore friends.  Sorry Dude

I mostly agree with the above except that a trackball is a pretty cool substitute for a mouse and there are a truckload of mouse games.  My mom can't wait to come over and play some of her favorite big fish games on my cab for this very reason.

It depends what you like. Sparkle is fun I think. It's very similar to Luxor in game play.
