i tried searching for "align halos" and nothing comes up.
What iam trying to do is make halos and align them to the exact location i will need so that they will sit around the buttons and joysticks on my control panel.
Iam using photoshop. These are the current settings i have.. do any of these have to be changed so when its printed there are no problems?

for some reason the picture is hard to read, heres the actual link to the picture

need to know what those settings are suppose to read.. and if any other settings need to be changed as well that iam not aware of
so far i measured out a few button holes on my control panel.. and now iam figuring i just have to make halos and put them in those locations on the actual picture (yes?)

i just realized iam working with the marquee sized character fusion image.. does anyone have the full size image? (the one with the hex background)
the one on the arcade art website downloads.. but when you try to unzip it comes up as a courpted zip file.
id also like the font used here http://www.localarcade.com/arcade_art/details.php?image_id=346&mode=search

come on fellas someone ha to have the hex background.

Did you try adjusting the brighness and contrast? I had to do that to get the hex shapes to stand out. I didn't realize there were two different versions. I can look at my artwork when I get home if you like.

Like loads of other people, I used that backdrop on my CPO. I Can’t help you with the hex background, but for Halo placement I simply created each button as separate layer and then used Photoshop’s ruler in order to place each button exactly where they were on my template. After the buttons were placed, I then knew exactly where to draw my Halos. You can always go back and delete the buttons if you don’t want them for a drilling guide.

yeah mountain, yeah theres 2 diff versions, i diddnt wanna reply back to ya i felt i was annoying ya.
thanks torcer yeah i'll probably do somthing like that.

heres somthing iam not quite understanding..
when i open the image in photoshop and go to view the rulers the rulers go all the way up too 110 inches
does this photo have to be reduced in size or somthing? (my control panel is 35.5 inches wide)

Really.
I have a file I have been working with for element of my cp and marquee. It does have the hex background.
My file is 9000x4800 that's 30 by 16 inches at 300 dpi.
Is yours a higher resolution? I have to expand mine or replicate the hex out to 50 inches for my 4 player panel. If yours is higher res can i get a copy. Or if mine is do you want a copy?

the one i have doesnt have the hex background... you are working with the marquee version of it, not the background version of it. The background version of the one with the hex comes up as a courrpted file when you try to download it.
iam trying to find the background version of it, no one seems to have it or want to send it.
iam desperate to start this and no ones giving answers ;|

So what is the res on yours? You know it should be easy to lay the hex in the background
