I got this a while ago and have finally dug it out and was trying to figure out what to do with it. It's a Taito cab but was converted to a Time Pilot some time ago. I was hoping that it was a Jungle King but with the vertical monitor thats a no.
Any ideas what this may have been or perhaps what could I make out of it? Or is it even worth a restore and perhaps I should mame it?

Tough one. I see orange showing thru on the sides, that says to me Zoo Keeper.
But the front is silver. That's not Zoo Keeper.
Definitely one of the classic Taito cabs.

The "targets" on the CP indicate it's a Qix:

Happy restoring...

Beat me to it... The shapes around the 1 and 2 player start buttons make that one easy to identify.
I'm conflicted on this conversion. Time Pilot is one of my favorite games of all time, and I normally don't mind seeing a cab converted to it, but I also think Qix is really cool.
I also always find it puzzling when an old game is converted to another old game.

Yup. I think it was a Qix. Good job TOK.
I'm not sure what to do with this thing. The monitor is missing its chassis and neck board, the harness is chopped up in several places. The power supply is half there. The artwork is trashed....all of which can be fixed but would it be worth it? I definitely like Time Pilot more than Qix. But then again how many Qix are out there anymore? Maybe now that I know what it is I can go to MAWS and see what other games were made that were similar and convert it to one of those.....Decisions, decisions.
