Just wondering who has finished the inside of there cabinet? If you did what did you do to it? A coat of paint? clear coat? or what?

I simply cleaned up the major holes, errors, repairs then painted the entire inside of the unit flat black. The monitor was too much of an issue to seperate from it's front case housing, so I just painted that edge with the same flat black (called Lamp Black, Home Depot).
I found this cut down on any screen light reflection or of that from LEDs and the like on the PC inside the cab.

Original cabs generally have no inside finish.

Since my cab is an older one I've MAMEd, I left the inside as it was, only painting the inside areas that might be visible.
Just finished my cab today. :) Pics up soon. (Not the best cab, but it'll suffice.)

I brush painted the inside of mine. Primed and then finished in gloss grey. I didn't use black as I wanted to be able to see more easily when working on stuff inside.

There was another thread on this topic (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=77349.0) a few weeks ago you might want to peek at.
I primed the inside of mine (white Latex Killz) while I was doing the outside. The main reason for it was a) clean look, and b) moisture protection for the MDF.

Im using black vinyl on the major panels inside my cocktail and royal blue vinyl to cover the internal frame work etc.
Is probably overkill I know but I want the inside to look as nice as the outside.
