Title: sony g420 issue

hey all, I gotta Sony G420 19" that has gone very bright. Sometimes right from the start, others it will look okay, then slowly fade up.

numbers on the board are 250VTG. 3AH F601

any input would be appreciated. thanks

it is in a "DJVU" file.  i dl'ed a scan conv. and i can't open it either . :angry:

some files on eservice are russian in origin . so,  :dunno  will see if can find it elsewhere .....

on the "neck board",  check R048 ( 2.2meg)  and R053 ( 22meg ) Q001, ic005

check voltage sources at cn305 pin 1(180v) pin 3 (80v) pin7 (12v)

on D board , check R918 (2.2ohm) and d906     

due to circuit complexity , servicing of this model may be beyond the abilities of most amateurs , and perhaps a challenge to some professionals.
