Title: Anybody remember playing Dark Tower back around '82?

This game was so much damned fun when I was a kid... I've been wanting to scoff one of ebay... but holy crap!  Turns out... there is pretty darn good pricey demand for them.

I totally remember that, although I had forgotten about it until I saw that 1982 Sears catalog.   I wish I still had that game around somewhere...

I wonder if it still would be just as fun as I remember...   sucks getting old.

I loved it.  There are a couple of flash versions of it out there (not as great as the actual spinning tower, but pretty good nonetheless).  I have a couple hosted here:

Outstanding game.  My dad took all the figures and cast them into metal.  I still have the knight who stood there with his sword with the point sticking in the ground (minus the sword since it broke off before dad got a hold of em.)

That game freaking rocked!

my brother used to cheat at it,and if i ever won then he would give me a beating :(

Used to play this with my brothers all the time. It was always lots of fun. I think my oldest brother still has it but I'm pretty sure it stopped working at some point. Great game.
