a) leave it
b) sand it very very very lightly and leave it or apply clear coat
-
Well, depends on the type of paint. Is it acrylic? Then you might want to give it a clear coat.
On my cab, I just sanded down the original finish, painted with 2 coats of oil-based enamel (egg-shell finish) rustoleum paint, and let it dry. Looks great IMHO :)
-
If it looks good leave it alone i wouldnt think sanding would be a good idea it might mar the surface.
-
I'm kinda wondering the same thing - I'm almost to that point. Sand with a very high grit paper and then buff???
-
iam using black eggshell
-
Go over it once with some high-grit sandpaper. Nothing rough or hard. Just a light once-over. It helps and will not mar the paint.
-
Is this a situation where you would want to wet sand with some really high grit paper and some type of polish?
-
what am i suppose to do after the last coat of paint?
