Title: what am i suppose to do after the last coat of paint?

b) sand it very very very lightly and leave it or apply clear coat

On my cab, I just sanded down the original finish, painted with 2 coats of oil-based enamel (egg-shell finish) rustoleum paint, and let it dry. Looks great IMHO :)

Post by: Jakobud on March 28, 2008, 02:31:54 pm: Go over it once with some high-grit sandpaper. Nothing rough or hard. Just a light once-over. It helps and will not mar the paint.
