Title: kick panel repair and speaker hole

hi the front of the arcade i bought has a damaged front right pannel, you can see the dowel rod, whats the best way to approach this to fix it without taking all the cab apart, also the set up i got is 3 buttons per player, and its on a lexan control panel, is it easy to add extra keys to the panel, also t=i want to fill in the speaker hole grill and make 2 new ones for stereo, whats the best way to fill this in? its like 5 long slits formed in a circle? thanx any advice appreciated
