Post by: Level42 on March 23, 2008, 06:02:56 pm
I've never played Snake Pit on Mame as far as I can remember. How is the game ?
Worth having ?

I like it.  I've never seen one or even parts of it for sale.

I know the seller, I got my Konami GT cockpit from him. I've seen this cab when I picked it up. It's HUGE !

I think you can play all the Sente games on this one (if you get it fixed)....but from what I've seen so far the screenshots of the other games don't look very promising....

I forgot all about this game. I used to play it way-back-when. I think  to kill time when Moon Patrol, Robotron and Xevious were already being played.  :)

Edit: I tried this in MAME and it works, but I'm having difficulty remembering the controls. In MAME, the stick both whips and moves the guy, and the trackball just moves him. Is the stick supposed to just whip without moving the character, or the trackball? Couldn't make it out from the CP images in the auction.

Kinda sad to see it ended without anyone interested. In the US it would be sold at least.

The Trackball moves the character and the stick whips.  You have to configure MAME so the stick doesn't move him.
