Title: How can I mark individual threads as read without opening it?

I always visit this site by using my bookmark for the view all unread topics list. When I do this it lists everything I haven't read (duh) and as I work through the list starting on the oldest page I read the topics that interest me. If I could clear away the topics I'm uninterested in by marking them as read it would be teh awsomz!
