I've just fired up my new computer to the WG D9200, however I've got one problem I seam to be stuck at 640x480 and 16 colors. I'm running Windows 98 - I went to the Control Panel - Display - Settings & tried to slide the bar over to 800x600, but nothing doing (It won't move). When I checked the colors the only options are 2 & 16.:'( What's wrong? ??? How do I change it to 800x600 and more than 16 colors? I am very new to this so any help is greatly appreciated.
Also just a note - The BYOAC Forum is an incredible source of info - I've to knowing absolutly nothing to actually understanding some of this great hobby.
Thanks for your responses. :)

Try installing (or re-installing) your video card drivers. Also, make sure you are not using "Standard VGA" for your monitor type.
For a WG D9200, you should use "Super VGA 800x600". because this monitor goes up to 800x600.
If this does not work, then, go into device manager, and see if there are any unknown devices. If you find one for your video card, DELETE IT, after installing the drivers.

Yes, That did it. I changed it to Super VGA 800x600 - Which didn't help, (that is) until I re-installed the Video Drivers. Don't know why it had to be re-installed - but who cares since it now works.
