So I ordered the Ultimate Arcade II from mameroom and forgot to include T-Molding.
My question is...Can I put the T-Molding on at the end? Or do I have to halt "putting together my cabinet" until I receive the T-Molding?
Sorry for the odd question, but thanks a ton in advance.

You should do it at the end. Put it on any time after you've painted or otherwise finished your cabinet. you can cut your slot without it actually being there, but wait to install until later.

The cabinet I ordered comes all laminated etc. and "ready to put together."
Should I "put on T-molding before construction" or put it on after all the parts are assembled/cabinet done?
I ask because step 2 on the plans are to put the T-molding on, but couldn't I just wait till the end and stick it on? I mean it's on the outside and shouldn't be blocked by anything right?

It's easier to put it on as a simple panel, but there is no reason that you can't put it on at the end. Just be careful with it so that you don't scratch the sides, or break the edges.

Its really going to be the easiest part of assembling everything. Don't sweat it. :)

thanks a ton for the replies guys....off to work on my cabinet I go :D

You mean it doesn't come with T-molding? That is crazy.
Anyways, you can put T-molding on at the very end if you choose to.

T-Molding doesn't require glue to hold but I added some to mine just for extra measure.

I have an Ultimate Arcade II cab and yeah, I was a bit upset that the T-molding wasn't included. It does state on their site that it's an 'extra', but for some reason it didn't jump out at me that it wasn't included. I guess I thought a different color than black was 'extra'.
Their prices on T-molding isn't bad, but when you consider the price of the cab kit, it really should be included. Shipping wasn't the best experience either... it took a week and a half to get the T-molding even though they processed my order immediately and sent an email the same day saying it was being sent. It wasn't actually shipped for several days.
They recommend installing the T-molding before you put the top on because the T-molding is actually slightly wider than the wood. I can say it's not a problem installing the T-molding after the two pieces are put together.
... And everyone is right, this is the easiest part of the project. Make sure you have a rubber hammer to tap it in. You can 'press' it in but you won't get it all the way in and it can look a bit bumpy. I light tap and you're done.
