Title: U360 pcb
Post by: grbgemen on March 17, 2008, 11:37:38 pm
is it possible to rearrange the PCB on the U360?  Or is there any need to since the joystick is programmable?

basically here is the joystick.

--------------------------
--------------------------

can it be mounted like this

----------------
----------------

never used the U360 so im not sure which way(the top or bottom) diagram is the correct way to mount the stick or if it even matters.  trying to save room on a control panel with limited space.

according to the last post in this thread: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=77537.0

it is possible.

I believe it will work either way.  Just after you rotate it, you'll probably have to remap your MAME setting for the joystick since old left will now be new up (or something like that).

Good luck!

You can mount the U360 in any fashion you wish.

If you find that your directional controls are not working as expected. i.e. up is down or left is right etc.,  you'll have to remove the PCB from the bottom of the unit.  One side of the PCB is marked "top."  Make sure to point that side of your PCB toward the top of your CP when placing it back on the unit.

Or, if the stick is not yet fitted, remove the 4 screws which secure the faceplate and rotate that. Its a bit easier.
