I have bought a wacko game. its made by bally-midway in 1983! there are 2 speakers which are 6x9s. the audio doesnt work, so i looked at the speakers and one has no cone at all and the 2nd looks just fine. So i would think that the one speaker would work! but apparently not! If you can help me solve the problem i would appreciate it. here is a picture of the speaker, if you need any other ones let me know.
i also adjusted the volume knob and it did nothing! ???

after looking at the cab, i then hit the RED buttons (reset switch) and got the message on boot up that said SOUND BOARD ERROR. so is the board fixable or do i need to get a new one?
-
The board you have pictured is the amplifier. The error is likely referring to one of the boards in the large three board stack.

Whether you can fix it or not I have no idea.

Where can I find one of these for a Wacko? (since wacko is a very unpopular game)
that and i need 2 new 6x9 sheilded... what are some good ones?

Get the speakers from Bob Roberts, ArcadeShop, or Happ Controls.
As far as the boards go, the only thing I know to do so far is replace the ribbon cables if they are original. You will know they are original if they are that paper thin variety instead of looking like an IDE type cable (like for IDE hard drives or SCSI cables) You can get replacement cables from Bob Roberts. I don't know if your problem is one that is typically solved by cable replacement or not.
