Hi. Do you know the exact measures of this (exterior diameter and hole diameter) and whether it's made of plastic or metal.

Also, is it the same as this one?:

the proper part number used by Sanwa is JLF-CD.
The two products you have listed are indeed the same, however I do not believe that it is still available with the clear blue shaft cover, they are only in black now.
They are made of plastic.
As for the measurements, I do not have calipers and I am not familiar with the metric system or any other foreign language for that matter.

I suppose these dust covers are compatible with the measures of most standard western-type sticks. They may be interesting if the external diameter is not so big. These sticks have a shaft with diameter of 1,3 or 1,4 cm, and the hole diameter of the dustcovers is 1,5 cm or so. The external diameter of the dustcover that comes as standard (Industrias Lorenzo) is 5,3 cm (quite big). I don't know about Sanwa sticks, but my LS-32 has a shaft diameter of 0,8 or 0,9mm, the same as my Namco Arcade Stick. I suppose this is a standard, because both dust covers have a hole diameter of 1 cm and the external diameter is 3,5 cm. So, summarizing, we have:
- Japanese sticks without the shaft cover: 0,8-0,9mm (shaft) / 10 mm (hole) / 3,5 mm (dust cover)
- Western-type sticks: 1,3-1,4mm / 1,5 mm / 5,3 mm
- Japanese sticks with the shaft cover: 1,3-1,4mm (I suppose) / 1,5 mm (I suppose) / ???????? <- unknown data
Anyone can confirm and complete this information?

I have Sanwa JLF and JTWs which I can take to work tomorrow and measure for you if you like? I dont think you are far off with your measurements as Ive programed and produced some Sanwa shafts and washers and your figures sound about right.
Just to correct your data slightly (only units + decimal places errors)
- Japanese sticks without the shaft cover: 8-9mm (shaft) / 10 mm (hole) / 35 mm (dust cover)
- Western-type sticks: 13-14mm / 15 mm / 53 mm
- Japanese sticks with the shaft cover: 13-14mm (I suppose) / 15 mm (I suppose) / ???????? <- unknown data
I cant help with the Japanese sticks with shaft cover im afraid.
Why exactly are you after this data? (just interested).

sanwa and seimitsu shafts are no the same diameter. I have the JLF stick with the dustcover and I also have a LS-32. The sanwa shaft cover will not fit the seimitsu stick
