Title: donkey kong to donkey kong jr swap

I have a DJ machine with a jamma adapter and a standard monitor, can I just swap boards with a DKJR board or do I need a different jamma adapter? :dunno

You mean you have a DK machine?  If so, yes.

yes you can swap the boards the wiring is the same and the adapter will not change that

What if its a TKG3 (4-board) DK board?  Are the hookups similar?
