I have a new coindoor from Happ (over/under mini). It came with no mounting hardware ::)
How are these supposed to be mounted? They have strange square holes. Is that for the square part of a carriage bolt to fit into? If so, what size? The exploded view on the Happ website doesn't seem to have this info...or I can't seem to see it.
Here's a pic:

Mine uses those holes for screwing in clamps that attatch to the wood around the edge. I really can't explain it, but it seems to me you're missing a very important piece. :o

Okay...a little better picture:

Well that certainly looks like a spot for carriage bolts, don't it? Do the holes go all the way through the front, though?
I mean how would you squeeze the carriage bolts into that spot?
-
Uhm.. yeah, it looks like it requires bolts :P.. that looks nothing like the over/under I have..

It really sucks that they do not provide the "hardware" ( 8 carriage bolts, nuts and washers) when they charge $88 for the thing....
You will have to figure out what size/length you need....then see if you can find them in anodized black. If not, you can rough the heads up a little with sandpaper and paint them...

AlanS17,
Do you have a picture of yours that would illustrate this?

My coin door has the same square hole that I placed carriage bolts in. I can't remember the size, but they were the smallest carriage head available at Sears harware.

What's sad about that, is they sell another version of the over/under door for $88; and it comes with all the mounting hardware, even a plastic cash bin. It's also easier to mount, it has clasps that hold the door from the inside of the cabinet.
I guess that doesn't help Shmokes, so I'll just shutup now.
