Title: are all coin mechs created equal?

i need 2 new coin mechs and i see them floating around on ebay for dirt cheap, question is are there any coin mechs better than another? (minus the plastics)

In my opinion the Imonex mechs are the best.  No moving parts.  You can also get Imonex mechs that accept tokens and quarters.

Imonex are just ok. Happ, Coin Controls, Coin Mech, Coinco (Coin Acceptors), and Asahi Seiko all make 25 cent coin chutes.
