Title: Problems with "left ctrl", "right ctrl", etc.
Post by: TheManuel on May 22, 2003, 02:33:43 pm
Has anyone else run into a problem with the IPAC that when you have a button encoded as left ctrl or right ctrl (or shift or alt, for that matter) when you try to map inputs in MAME you always get "Left Ctrl Right Ctrl" even though you want only "Left Ctrl"?

Thanks.

I believe the trick is to not pause the game while you're configuring the keys. I'm pretty certain this allows you to set the Left/Right Shift or Ctrl keys individually.

I might just have been doing that, Kev.
I'll double check when I get home.
Thanks for the tip.
It's always the little things that get you.

Yes, trying to configure the controls while the game is paused gives strange results.  It is not an issue with the IPac.

hee hee hee....it seems this afternoon, at the exact same time, someone..somewhere...was doing the exact same thing..WRONG...as I was :)

Its a small world after all.
