Title: Ice Trackball and LED Wiz

Anyone tell me how to hook up Ice trackball with led wiz. There is a ribbon cable that has 4 wires one for R one for G one for B and one 5v.

I hooked up Red to a port on LED WIZ and tried to configure in LEDBLinky no dice. Do I need to hok up 5v? I mean doesnt the trackball get the 5V from LED WIZ Board?

Yes, you need to hook the 5V part of the ribbon cable to the 5V output on the LEDWiz, then you would nornally use 3 ports on the LEDWiz for each of the R,G, and B leads of the ribbon cable. Just to test, you can use the control panel app from GGG.

Kinda dumb its a stranded wire and not a solid core. Can you put R G B all in same port for LEDWIZ?

yup...but then you would only get white for your colour...
