Title: Oscar Restrictor Plate Question
Post by: Mike on March 14, 2002, 01:30:28 pm
Anyone know how far over the base of a happs super the oscar restrictor plate extends? It looks like if I have the measurements right it extends over the sides by about .42 inches and over the top and bottom by 1.2". Can anyone confirm this for me. My control panel is very small and I just want to make sure I can mount this before ordering one.

Your measurements are correct.  There is also a PDF template you can print out on the website (www.oscarcontrols.com) that may help with planning your control panel layout.  Please let me know if you have any questions.

I am also planning a small CP with the OSCAR restrictors.  An option I plan to use is to cut 0.75 inch off the top and bottom of the mounting plate (including the holes).  The I will not cut the rectanglar hole in the CP, but will use the joystick bolts to hold the restrictor in place.  I plan to use 3/8" plywood for the panel top, but if yours is thicker, you would have to router it out to use this method.
