Title: Domino's
Post by: zudmsc on March 06, 2008, 12:25:33 pm
Does anyone remember a set of specialty domino's?  These were red in color and weighted so that one half of the domino weighed 3/4 of the total weight (center of gravity not centered).  It also had a small notch on the top side and holes in the base.  These were made to help in doing special tricks when you set the dominoes up to fall.  I used to have they, but lost them when I moved numerous times.  Please help if you remember those or have them or know where to get them.

Could be some iteration of Domino Rally.

Couldn't have been Domino Rally.  We had a few of those sets, and the weight was evenly distributed on them.

We also had a bunch of tiny ones, around 3/4" high.  Tiny things.

Fun stuff though!

Maybe it's just our local Domino's, but damn, last pizza we ordered from them was rubbery and had just about zero sauce.  It was barely pizza.

There used to be a fantastic little greek pizza place by our house, the best pizza ever, but the guy retired and moved to Florida.  Haven't been able to find a good replacement source yet.

I loved it in high school.

But now I can't even look at it.  Just seeing the pool of grease on top of it makes me queasy.

there was an italian restaurant really close to my place, so we got a bit spoilt for wood fired pizzas. all the 'fast' pizzas dont cut it for me anymore. having said that, ill eat it if its free (",)
