Title: Mame32 .112 Cocktail "menu" rotate?!?

Hello,

Help!.....I am using Mame32 .112 for a cocktail table......The Games flip correctly and Video is adjusted right(thru tab and Dip settings in THE GAME itself)..... How can I get the Mame32 Menu to Flip/rotate sideways to face the Player?!?  I am using 800x600 resolution -The monitor refuses to do any higher. My nvidia Graphics card does have a rotate option- BUT IT will not rotate at the given 800x600 resolution!?!

I am using .112 because I found in the "new" Mame32 the Cocktail modes are really wacky!?!?

I am missing something?!?  I sent Nvidia a email asking why it can not be rotated and they said "a xp limitation?!?" I find that hard to beleive?

Try changing your resolution. Like you said, it won't let you rotate at that res. (Mine's the same) Find a res you can rotate at.

The Happ Monitor Pro vision Maxs out at 800x600 ...I cant find the resolution it will handle?!?

I am sorry however none of our cards will rotate at a resolution of 800x600 or below.

I have an ATI Radeon X1650 512 MB PCI-e
I was able to rotate it at any resolution I tried, including 800x600 and 640x480

Thanks a ton......I will Newegg  (buy) the ATI card!! FInally!  My laptop is running a Ati and will do it- But i wasnt sure if the desktop Ati chipset would?!?!  Thank you for confirming!  I have been using the Nvidia Chipset in my video cards for years...so i had no "spare" ATI cards around to try!?! Do you remember want u paided? $50?

For the record I have an old geforce mx4400 and it rotates my cocktail 180 degrees at 640x480 just fine.

Maybe the newer cards just dont have it...
