I was looking @ adjusting the brightness to help with the shots on my Op Wolf cab and while searching on here, noticed something that caught my eye. Someone mentioned that you can adjust brightness from the flyback xformer. I only tried the brightness/contrast on the chasis PC board. Is there another option on the flyback?
Hopefully that doesn't sound too stupid...

yes there is focus and screen volts on the flyback, also you will find colour adjustments on the neck card

Thanks!
PBJ - I saw this from you in another thread. While you had no idea I was wondering about it, you might have saved me from buying a new monitor. Thanks!
BTW, can I adjsut the flyback w/o discharging the monitor (w/o killing myself @ least)?
Thanks!

yeah you will have to adjust it while it is on either by hand or screw driver the knobs/pots on the rear of the flyback are toachy so just a little turn makes a huge difference.
you dont want your chassis brightness turn all the way down and your flyback cranked up to make up the difference either if your chassis brightness it all the way up turn it down so it's not maxed out all the time.
sometimes there also black knobs.
if you crank your flyback knob up to much you will get a hum noise and probably get some white lines on a black screen and if that happens you have the flyback up to much.
