Indeed a sad day. A truly gifted man and a nice guy to boot.

Wasn't he an alcoholic? My brother saw him perform and he puked right there on stage.
(leave it to me to sully his good name post-mortem  ;D I'm a sick man!)

I dunno ... several (OK, it was many) years ago he and I frequented the same clubs (and my sister-in-law's roommate was a groupie) and I didn't see any evidence of that -- he was always "with it" and a really nice guy.

I do know from one of our conversations that he had been fighting the cancer more seriously than I had realized prior to that point.

Maybe the Chemotherapy made him sick?

Hey that's possible! It was 2-3 years ago though.

He has dealt with cancer for most of his life. No matter how sick he was he always performed
it was the only thing that made him feel good. I hope your dumb ass comment makes you feel good now.
