Using MameWAH v1.62b13
No matter what I try I can't get it to generate a list for ZSNES. I've looked through topics about it here and at the ArcadeOS/MameWAH boards, but nothing has helped. Any help would be appreciated.
Here's my zsnes.ini

Your roms are in the "e" drive and not in a folder on the "e" drive? I would make sure that file path is correct to your rom folder.
-
I set it to look in rom_folder_subfolders. The roms are in lettered folders. (A B C etc)
However, even when I had it pointed to a folder of roms on my hard drive and had the path correct and set to rom_folder, it still wouldn't generate a list.
-
I just tried pointing it at just one of the letter folders on the disc and it would saying generating list, then come up with nothing.
My roms are in zip format, so that's correct.
I don't know what the deal is...

Make sure you're using the latest version. Mamewah_v162b13a.zip (http://www.divshare.com/download/2270223-def). Version 1.62b13 has some list generation problems.

I was having this same problem and switching to the latest version b13a fixed it
-
I heard you needed the latest version, so I got it straight from the mamewah page. Guess it wasn't the latest. I'll try this one. Thanks for the link.
-
Thanks! That fixed it. I just had the wrong version.
-
it would have worked in your old version also I noticed your rom extension was something other then zip and you stated later your roms were zipped so whatever you had there on the intitial post is more then likely why it was not working.
it could not find the roms so it could not make a list even if you have the right folder your rom extension name was wrong.

The SMC was left in by mistake. I tried it with a folder of unzipped roms as well. Trust me, it was ZIP the rest of the time.
The reason it wasn't working was the version.
