Title: Spinner what Axis?
Post by: bent98 on February 28, 2008, 08:58:47 pm
I have a TT2 spinner and a Happ USB 3 inch trackball. Just wondering if I should put it on the x,y, or Z axis? Is there any advantage or disadvantge to putting spinner  on Z axis? Also if I did put it on the Z Axis, which controls setting in Mame do I change?

sometimes backspin will be a problem on the z axis...it was for me and at least one other guy...
i put it on the x axis and it was good to go...

if you put it on the y axis...then you could use it to scroll through your gamelist on mala...

Not if the trackball is on a physically different interface board.  But they cannot both be connected to the same board and axis.
