A couple of weeks ago, I got a call from someone who had a couple of arcade machines in his garage, that he wanted to part with. I went out to him and discovered that he had 3 Defender machines - which was in descent shape. We don't see Defender very often here in Denmark, so I couldn't stop myself from buying them. One has a broken monitor and one is missing power supply and some other stuff - but it looks like I made a good deal.
It wasn't before last night, that I got them home. Now the restoration begins :D
I have a couple of pictures. They are a bit dirty, but I will start cleaning the next couple of days.
I'm new to restoring arcademachines, so I hope that some of you can help me out - if or when I hit a wall.

Wowza,
Very nice find!
Retroactives Defender rebuild is the best around.
You have a lot of fun ahead of you.
Good luck.

Niiice... those actually don't look bad at all, just dusty.
-
Not fair ... You have three and I haven't got one. :'(
Good luck with everything - I love Defender (even though I was crap at it!). ;D

Denmark eehhh,

I thank everyone for their positive responses. I have allready received a couple of very good bids for the machines and I'm considering selling them. I don't have the space to keep them anyway - so I will have to settle with something more generic for my office, because I would like to play different games. Or at least that's my girlfriends opinion ::)
If I had the room, I would definitely keep one though. It's a very entertaining game, but also very hard to master.

LoL. It's like a 15+ hour train ride, so you figure out the driving math. :)

So ?
It's not like I can pick-up a Defender around the corner here....

I didn't think so either, and suddenly there where 3 ;)
But yes, it's a pretty long trip to Denmark from NL.
