This machine got finished about 6 months ago, but I figured Heck, we all love the mame machines. It is a converted Xenophobe cabinet. The controls are an x-arcade dual and a x-arcade trackball ( I know there is better but I didnt know where to start when I did this). The cab is all covered in actual red and black PLEATHER!!!!! I had a store down the street that had all sorts of 1 off rolls for cheap and affixed it with spray glue. All new paint and tmolding and a free computer inside
2.4ghz p4 w/ 1gb ram

Very 70's retro....It's pretty cool! You should mount a disco mirror ball on the unit somewhere.....

I had one of these cabs. It's heavy ain't it?
Did you ever see Lowerhell? http://lowerhell.com/mame/

My first try I had it all lit with black light, but then decided against it. Man I should of thought of that hehehe. I love retro and was wanting a good bachelor pad mame, so I made this.

I did see lowerhell, but I saw that after I bought the machine. He did inspire me on putting the keyboard on top and the layout of the controller.

oh yeah, This thing weighed like 250 when I was done with it, on the other hand my new gauntlet legends with the monitor I cant even make it move. The monitor alone weighs around 200 on its own. Its an old 27" mitsubishi presentation monitor.
