Title: New Member First Jukebox
Post by: epster on February 21, 2008, 12:18:03 am
Thanks to all of you that provide help and information.  I used lots of peoples ideas to build my first jukebox.  It has great sound and has been a super conversation piece for parties.  I am working on a new project with a modern look and a touchscreen monitor.

She's a great looking machine.  Glad the boards were able to help make the beastie come to life.

Gratz and well done!

Pretty tall, but I can't argue with the aesthetics on something as slick as that. What's the story behind the colored rectangles?

The rectangles are sound reactive cold cathodes and the opening is covered with a semi opaque plastic and trimmed in chrome t molding.  Even though we are a tall family, it came out taller than I expected.  My next build will be a little more normal size.
