This one, it's a replacement for the Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga reunion games and therefore a true 4-way.  $21.00 though  :-[

thanks for the info.

two questions, 1) is the red knob replaceable with a black one (sounds silly, but i like things to match =) ?
and 2) i would mounting this in the front of my hotrodse, why is this joy only metal mountable ? couldn't tell from the diagrams on the site.

thanks all.

It's not wood mountable because of the short shaft and throw of the stick.  You really need a very thin mounting material for it to work properly.  I recently purchased one and it is a very small joystick.

Has anyone mounted one of these in a lexan surface?  Thought it would be easier to drill a lexan plate than a metal one.

Red ball?  I'm not sure if it twists off or not.    Will have to go look.

The ball is not removable.  It can be painted with the proper paint and preparation.
