Are there any Dats out there for Console emus so it would be easier to make game lists for fe's???

Check out the ClrMame Pro web page:
http://www.clrmame.com/
You can find Good and Tosec dats there (in the clrmame pro format). They cover most (if not all ?) consoles that are out there.
Furthermore, there is a tool (DatUtil) at:
http://www.logiqx.com/
that converts between various dat file formats (and does other useful stuff).
Cheers
;D

A much simplier solution is to download izraham's dat maker at either his site or the lazarus homepage. You simply point to a folder(s) and it makes a dat based on the zip files (or whatever file extension you define) in the folder. Now it doesn't take care of the "true" game names, but if the zip files are named well then this isn't a huge issue.

the TOSEC dats on the clrmame page are outdated. if you're looking for TOSEC dbases, best check http://www.tosec.org (http://www.tosec.org) where you will always find the most recent dbases. The "goodtool" dbases for Romcenter are available on http://gooddat.emu-france.com/ (http://gooddat.emu-france.com/), but they should also be usable in clrmame
