I didn't want to raise the dead with the original topic posting which can be read over here:

I have bought a house etc... since that topic was started and had to move all my cabs... blah blah blah, life. Well I am back at it now.
I hooked up the inverter board using the Non-Invert Out to the monitor because the Non-Invert output does not require the inverter board to have a +16V input.
The monitor seemed to be washed in yellow. When I pushed the actual "G" green pot toward the outputs of the inverter the yellow wash went away.
I suspected solder joints so I reflowed the solder on most of the board. Now that I have hooked the board back up all I get is the yellow wash on the screen.
I have tried adjusting the flyback, the brightness, the inverter pots, the neckboard pots. Everything. Any one have any experience on troubleshooting inverter boards?
EDIT: Without the inverter installed the game DOES play correctly. It is a DK3 board with a Sanyo 20ez monitor.

Unless, I'm totally missing something seems like the pot is dirty or bad. Replace it.

Yeah, I left it alone for a couple hours and went to Jiu-Jitsu and cleared my mind and the answer seems obvious, I will check the pots tomorrow (too tired tonight) but I suspect the pot was about to go and now it is gone, but will let you know.

I removed all three pots and 1 of them was completely dead unless you turned it to the max. 1 of the other pots was intermittent.
These pots were 0-3.3Kohm resistors. I replaced all three with 0-5Kohm (really 4.6Kohm) trim pots. I will put this sucker in the cab this evening and update after the smoke test.

Ok, forgot to update this thread.
I hooked up the board after replacing the trim pots and now the color is constantly washed out.
Clarification. I am hooking the DK3 gameboard into the "Input Signal" connector of the inversion board and hooking the monitor to the "Non-Invert Out" connector of the inversion board.
I do not have 16V power connected to the power connector as others have stated that there is no need as the 16V is only required when using the "Invert Out" side of the inversion board.
I will check the three 100 ohm resistors that the signals go through tonight.
Does anyone see a problem with me replacing the 3.3Kohm trim resistors with 5K ohm trim resistors?

Why not just run straight to the monitor inputs, if you are not inverting the video? It's the same connector. If you are trying to modify the signal, you'll need to hook up the power.

Ah, Mike, you now see the game I am playing!!!! :notworthy:
I will eventually be hooking up to the Sanyo with an ArcadeVGA. I am trying to make sure the inverter works even semi properly before I connect it to the computer. Once I do this I will have to invert the signal using the inverter board.
Furthermore, I have not received any definative answer on if I will need the Video Amp from Ultimarc in order to hook an ArcadeVGA to a Sanyo.
That is why I am trying to use the inverter with a PCB.

Gotcha. You can use 12V on that board. If you need the location on where to hardwire the power on a Sanyo, lemme see if I can dig that up....
Ok, power to the inverter comes from the AS line, as shown in the picture below. Generally the power line is soldered to the resistor at R232 I believe.

What did adjusting the pots do?
The difference is resistance shouldn't make that much of a difference aside from the sensitivity of the adjustment.
You should still be able to adjust the pots down to zero and get little to no color and adjust up from there.

When I adjust all the way it gets a really dark picture and when I begin to turn the pots it washes out all pink. I will get pictures tomorrow evening.

Regardless of which pot you turn?
You should be able to note red, green and blue individually. (one at a time)

Ok, I've either gotten it all confused or had something else not connected properly earlier but I just hooked it up and everything looks nice EXCEPT I don't have the quite the brightness and depth of color while using the inverter.
When I power the inverter and use the Inverted Out I may get a little more gain out of the colors.
I am VERY particular about the backgrounds being BLACK so when I turn up the voltage on the flyback or the brightness on the monitor I get a washed out black in the background.
Hold on this until I get the ArcadeVGA computer setup. Sorry about the false alarm, I have a couple of other machines I am working on right now so maybe I was just mistaken.

On a side note, how do I stretch the picture in what would be (according to the chassis) in the vertical direction.
The vertical adjustment is on the adjustment board but where is the horizontal adjustment?
