I have been fighting with this old monitor (Kagi) /tube (Mitsubishi) combo for a while. I have successfully repaired the vertical yoke windings (to some extent) and now i am getting a odd picture - although it is an improvement on nought ;D.
I have included 3 pics (SFII') of the screen. The first is with the lights on to get a feel for the placement of the image on the screen. The other two are with the lights off so that you can vividly see the issue that i am having.
As you can see from the images the screen is very interlaced and doubled around. Like it has been stretched to go around twice instead of just the once. My guess is that there is an issue/incompatibility with the refresh frequency of one or the other.
So anyone seen this and know where i should look?
Thnks, GF
p.s. there is some more information about my board etc in this post, when i was sorting out other issues.

1st step : turn down the vert size
pic is being overscaned - recheck yoke repair.
vert yoke is 2 identical windings in parallel......

Got it sorted. Managed to find the Vert. Size on the monitor board. Connected video sync to the HD input (ignoring VD). Tweaks some knobs and, as if by magic, the correct picture appeared ;D ;D.
Thanks qrz for all your help.
Now onto refurbishing the cabinet/controls etc...
