Got just a general question. Has anyone had contact with Scott from Mameroom lately? I made a purchase on his website this weekend of buying the UAII kit and the site said that after purchase I would get the download of the plans. Well unfortunately nothing as of yet and I sent him an e-mail asking him about that and no response. Also I just tried to call him and got an automated generic cell phone response, with no real message options.
I am wondering if I am jumping the gun being a bit anxious and by no means do I want to make any bad waves especially if I am not having enough patience. If anyone has made this kind of purchase before and it just takes some time please let me know.
Also if you get this Scott please PM me just so I can know that everything is good and it just takes sometime to process everything.
As soon as I hear anything I will post in here because like I said I don't want to make this into a rant or rave, I was just hoping to get a few answers.

I think you are... just wait a little. I bought my cabinet from Scott and recently he built a control panel for me. He is normally very responsive and I had no problems so far. I'm sure you just got him in a very busy day.

Ok thats great to hear, I am just naturally impatient and like most always have that little voice when ever you buy something on line.

I have purchased from Scott before, it can take a day or two sometimes to send you the link

Scott is the man, give it a little more time.

Thanks for the input guys, I really am in no great rush, but just got concerned with hearing about SS, which yes I do know that Scott had nothing to, but as with all of us we have finite budgets and I wanted to make I had not messed up. So I will give Scott all the time he needs which more then likely his is right on time and I am the one having the problem. So when this all pans out I owe Scott a beer and will be more than happy to make sure he gets all the credit for his great work...

Scott will come through with your order. :)
Speaking of Mameroom :
Has anyone purchased and assembled the kit for the Showcase cabinet ? It looks like an impressive monster of a cab. >:D
It'd be nice to see an actual picture of a fully assembled one ... there's not a single photo of a Showcase cabinet on the "examples" page of the Mameroom website. I know this is a fairly recent addition to Mameroom's product line, but I believe it's been available for at least the last 6 months, which I would have thought was long enough for units to be assembled "out in the field" by now.

I tried calling him last month a couple of times and I got through to him both times. If that matters...
I think you're OK. I'm sure he is just busy. He'll get back to you.

Speaking about Scott, I'm one of those that bought the SS CP with Mameroom, by the end of December and of course I never got it. BUT, Scott was always super nice, answering ALL my emails very quickly and offering options like giving my money back entirely or building a cp just like the SS (apart of the spinner and the keyboard encoder, which are both GGG and work great!). Well, I asked him to build the cp and I got it delivered yesterday, one week after I ordered it and it looks sweeeeet! No scratches, everything working great. Because of the mess caused by SS, Scott sent me a check that refund me 10% of the SS price, as a discount and he is also reimbursing me for the price difference of the overlay that I bought from SS and he can't reproduce because of the copyright. Today I asked him for the vector plan of the sides of the cabinet and also the CP so I can create my own side art and cp overlay and Scott send me both files just a few minutes later.
All I have to say is: Scott IS THE MAN! I give my best recommendations about him at any time.
I'm really happy with what I got and as I said, if he didn't answer your message:
1) he was way too busy at the moment
2) your email got lost in some email spam filter, so try again, maybe using a different email address.
Cheers,

Kris,
Nice to hear about your positive Mameroom experience, and your great panel. :)
Why don't you also post your experience in the SlikStik thread.
There were a lot of to-ing's and fro-ing's in that thread ... your info. would provide a nice conclusion to the matter.
Any newbies who come along, looking to purchase a SlikStik-style panel, will know from your experience that they'll be "happy chappies" if they order their panel from Mameroom.

Ok just to let everyone know Scott came through just like everyone said. He told me that they have been having problems with the Paypal system and getting it with their website. So just want to say hats off to Scott and thanks for the plans I hope to be building this thing within the next few weeks and will let everyone knows how it goes.
 to Mameroom

I thought about posting there but seems like that thread is not going as strong as before and I didn't want to
