So what is the generally accepted slope for the Control Panel surface? Anybody know what Knievel generally uses?
-
My CP is about 16" deep and I have it sloping from 6" at the back to 4.5" at the front. This seems to give it a good slope that i'm comfortable with.
-
You don't really need a whole lot. 1-2" down from back to front is going to be plenty for most "normal" sized CPs.
-
Knievel uses exactly a 5 degree slope. 5-1/4" in the back to 4-1/4" in the front.

Sounds like info only a stalker would have. ;)

Thanks al..
I have been learning to use Google's Sketchup CAD program and did some experiments with some scrap plexi over the weekend. I hope to unveil a new cab design in the next week that incorporates a lighted modular etched plexi CP like with a more traditional looking panel (without the heavy doors in the front.. ) And which may server to reduce the "wings" I have on "ghost in the Machine"
