For those with GameEX experience, how does one change the default (Joy1-Down+Button1) Page Up / Page Down to quickly slide up or down your Game List?
I have mod'ed the UI Up / Down in MAME, but that seems to only have an effect in the Config Menu for MAME itself, not GameEX.

AHH HAA!!! :applaud:
It seems the way to Page UP / DOWN on the GameEX menu is to hit button '4' on player 1 side and while held, move the p1 stick up or down.
Doh! :banghead:

Here are the default controls from GameEx if you have any other questions about what does what.

That was the first place I looked for info, yet the buttons did not match up to what my default GameEX buttons settings are. The button 1+stick is somehow button 4+stick on my machine by default.
But again, I may be wrong and have changed something at some point without recall.

Well, you could change the mapping by using the GameEX setup wizard. There is a place to configure custom controls. Here you could change it back to button 1 if you like. What control panel are you using? The reason I ask is that on some button 1 is mapped to a control button and GameEX doesn't seem to like this for navigation. Could be why it was changed before.

My CP is a home-brewed beast, being run mainly by the GP-WizRX controller board. It stands with 2 Super Sticks and 12 player Buttons.
I have custom keys turned off in GameEX, but personally, I like not having the Page UP/DOWN on Button 1. I think it will do for now until I flesh out the next gen CP I am thinking about.

That's cool. I don't know if you know about alpha-paging. Works like page up/down but goes to the next letter. Works great when you have a huge game list, but it seems like you are comfortable with what you got.

1608 MAME roms... all that show up as 'non-clone' in MAME v123 for me. Otherwise it would be 6318 roms in all... GADS.
I can page through now, without Alpha being set, in about 8 seconds. More than fast enough I think for my needs.
