Title: 99% Mint Pac-Man Upright on eBay (600 Plays-Home Use)
Post by: MameFan on May 19, 2003, 12:01:04 pm
This is NOT my auction, and if I owned this there would be NO WAY I would sell it.  This thing is in amazing shape, all original, and no "restoration" done on it.

I so wish I could justify buying it, but cannot, knowing it will go for $1500+, but I thought I'd share one nice piece of work of art with the rest of you. After selling and buying on eBay for 7 years, I have NEVER seen a nicer unit, including refurbed ones.

And so help me if anyone buys this to "MAME" it, I will personally hunt you down!!!  >:(     ;D

WOW.  That thing is absolutely amazing.  If only I had more money, and more room in my house.  :'(

I hope this goes to a real collector who can give it a proper home and proper care.

Rampy -- You know, I read that post a month or so ago, and the comment about "600 plays" seemed very familiar.  And you're right, this one states "mansion".  I betcha it IS the same unit!

Here's the usenet google cache of that thread, links to pics of what that guy got. Funny they never stated how much they paid.  Probably got a steal.

So look for these appearing on eBay soon I guess:

Someone on the other forum mentioned that the "600 plays" is totally meaningless since it is set on free play anyway...

Admittedly a very nice example though...

Wienerdog, I think the pac games never have tmolding all the way down the pack.
