This overlay will measure 24" x 16". Anyone have any ideas on how to print it that big? We have a few print shops in town, but if anyone has a bright idea, let me know.
This Overlay is custom built for my wife's aunt, who couldn't stop playing pac man when she visted a few months ago. I bought a cab that had been converted three times (originally missile command) at an auction, gutted it, painted it, performed surgery on the metal CP, and I am now ready to affix the overlay.
The first 9" will be on the top, the remaining 7" (where the atari logo and family names are) are perpindicular to the ground. The big "Super Pellet" is exactly even with the 3rd top button, and it will rest exactly (I hope) in the middle of the super pellet.

Well as far as printing - there are a few options:
1) Kinko's or Kinko-esque-type shop. Getting work printed there is akin to rolling craps. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. A good job looks awesome, but a bad job usually looks good but is the completely wrong size :P
2) The mameroom.com can print full size - he knows what an overlay is for a control panel (so that's a plus compared to clueless kinko worker bees)
3) I know there were 1 or 2 other folks here who have large printers, might be worth searching through the buy/sell forum or something. But hopefully they'll pipe up.
I'd recommend covering it with sometype of lexan to protect it from scratches.

I'd suggest a drop shadow or simple black stroke around your text. It's difficult to read on the yellow background.
