this is a problem caused by sucessive governments and political correctness,I know from experience the ignorance of younger generations.When i went to school in the u.k we were taught british and world history to high level,the same with geography,but now because of fear in upsetting some of the non brit population nothing is taught of how britain came to be.apparently africans and asians are not keen on hearing how we kicked their asses,mind you they were armed with mangos and spears and us brits had guns and cannons ;D
