Title: How to setup CPV2 (CPViewer) to work with a front end?

Hey guys,

I'm currently running Maximus Arcade for my front end and love it.  However, I just started screwing around with CPViewer.  When I set CPViewer up to run when a MAME game is launched it takes focus away from the MAME screen once it's closed.  I have to ALT+TAB to the emulator screen.  How do I set this up to where MAME get's focus immediately after CPV2 is closed?

Can I ask what command line you used to launch CPViewer for Maximus (pre-game launch) - specifically, how do you pass the rom name? Thanks!

I was never able to get it to keep focus....  Dropped CVP2 in favor of CPWiard.  CPWizard has worked great ever since.

Are you using CPWizard with Maximus? If so, how do you pass the rom name to CPWizard? Thanks.

I am using CPWizard with Maximus.  CPWizard opens when you pause MAME, so the game is automatically populated.

I am using CPWizard with Maximus.  CPWizard opens when you pause MAME, so the game is automatically populated. 

That's right, I forgot that's how CPWizard works. Thanks anyway.

Don't want to steal the thread but I have a couple of quick questions. I'm running Maximus Arcade as well.

Are either of you using U360's by chance?

Do you know where I can get cfg files that work with MA for the various games?

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry I don't use Maximus - but I recall seeing a couple of very detailed threads on the MA forum regarding the U360.

I do actually have a couple of U360's on my cp and I program them dynamically - but I'm using MaLa as my FE.
