Title: Mark As Unread
Post by: Chris G on January 30, 2008, 06:11:47 pm
Any chance of getting this functionality added?

There have been a number of occasions where I don't have time to finish reading a thread, but I want to remember to come back later on and continue.

You know, like when Drew is blathering on and on.

Ok, bad example - no one wants to read that.  ;)

Why not simply bookmark the thread? You can actually bookmark the message where you stopped reading if you bookmark the title above the last post that you read.

BTW I do notice that often the "go to first unread post" function doesn't work. Sometimes it keeps going to the first post on the last page (as opposed to the actual new post that I hadn't read).

Saint.  This is a theme issue.  If one switches to the them titled "SMF Default Theme" the mark Unread link shows.
So since it's a built in feature, you won't find a mod for it. :)
